So what is "good marketing"?
In my podcast, I've already asked 10 experts - from international marketing managers to strategists to agency managers - what constitutes good marketing for them. In the process, really exciting insights came to light from which I have also taken a lot away for myself.
Before I get right to the answers...
🤩 Yes, I have a podcast.
A few months ago, my mentor Ilise Benun gave me a new idea: start a podcast.
My first thought was: Another additional project?
Yes, just writing this newsletter is already a good piece of work - more about that another time...
But honestly, I've been toying with the idea of starting an audio format for a long time. So it started as a small side project, but soon I realized: "There's a lot of people listening already!" Also in appointments, I was asked again and again about my podcast and the interviews. And super interesting experts were immediately enthusiastic about the idea of being part of it - thanks to all of you!
That's why I've decided to continue to make the podcast the focus of my work as a consultant and strategist over the next few months. And while so far most of the editions are also still in German, I have planned the upcoming interviews almost all in English.
And part of my podcast is always three short closing questions, and one of them is, "What is good marketing in 3 words?"

I'm on vacation right now, and whenever we're outside of Europe, one thing becomes clear: plastic bottles are everywhere. They pollute land and water while also posing a great danger to living creatures. The biggest problem: the longevity of containers made from PET - 450 years!
But here, too, there is a good solution: Cove Water produces biodegradable water bottles. And you can already buy them in American supermarkets. And since the bottle is 100% plastic-free, it doesn't cause any microplastics either while it decomposes naturally in just 5 years.
